Today’s task in the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog Challenge is to write an elevator pitch for your blog.
This blog has certainly lost its direction. I intend to get it back in this 31 day challenge. I’m also doing the challenge on BenSpark.com
Here is my elevator pitch for Read To Me, Dad.
“Children love to be read to, and by doing this parents help their kids develop a love of reading themselves. Read to Me, Dad reads and reviews various children’s books and offers parents suggestions for the best books for them and their kids.“

I find it really hard to get books for boys. Most are written for girls, with girls as the heroine. The more boyish books are horror or other stuff which I don’t think a little boy is ready to read. If he can be scared by a plastic frog on the kitchen floor how can he read something about vampires?

How old is the boy? There was a great series of books when I was growing up about Henry Higgins or Huggins, I loved those books. They are older and might not be in print anymore but they were good ones. I guess it depends on how old the boy is.
